Variants of consulting
As an expert in data protection, I provide support in the establishment and further development of data protection management as well as in individual issues.
Most often, the consultation takes place in one of two ways:
- Advising management, employees and the internal data protection officer
- Acting as appointed external data protection officer
My qualifications and experience meet the requirements for a data protection officer in terms of the necessary expertise and reliability.
Data Protection Officer
My consulting activities in data protection are generally based on the legally defined tasks for the data protection officer (cf. Art. 39 (1) GDPR).
Phases of the consultation
Basically, data protection consulting takes place in the three phases:
- Identification of the requirements
- Establishment and
- Operation of the data protection management system.
Audits can also be carried out while maintaining independence with regard to a previously provided consulting service.
Consulting service
My consulting services on data protection are:
- Planning and structure of data protection management
- Position of the (external) data protection officer
- Advice to the (internal) data privacy officer
- Advice on individual data protection issues
- Support for Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default for providers and users of IT systems
- Implementation of audits
